I’ve ridden a bike my whole life, hence why most of my social media is filled with pictures of me on a bike. It takes up most of my time! Away from cycling, I studied A-levels at Spalding Grammar School achieving an A,B,B grades and was accepted into Loughborough university to study human biology; which has been deferred 2 years now. Now for a brief history of my cycling carer from the start. I could dive deeper but I’ve done so much, its hard to write about it in a blog. Ill just have to write a book.
I started racing when I was about 6 years old, doing Cyclocross initially as well as some events like grass track. Over the years I did swimming, cross country running, duathlon and triathlons. If anyone asks if I’ve won a national champs I can say yes, the u8 national duathlon champs, prestigious I know.
I come from the small Market Town of Spalding in south Lincolnshire. There's not a massive amount to do in Spalding, unless you are a farmer. Its in the middle of the fens, an area of land reclaimed from the sea for farming so therefore its pan flat. Around 15 miles East you start getting to some small climbs, of which are used in the Bourne Cicle and then a bit further the route of the Cicle Classic.

I won the u12 lincs league a number of times, as well as wins/medals at a number of u12 triathlons plus duathlons. When I was aged 14 I started racing the national series on the road and cyclocross. I was lucky to join Sherwood Pines SRAM, later known as the SRAM race team run by Graham Snodden. During this time I picked up a few national series podiums, plus a 3rd overall in the National series and winning the team prize at the National champs. I gave cross country MTB a go, though I was never the best nationally I was consistently in the top 20 as an under 16. Looking back at MTB now, I still have no idea to this day what made me do half of those A-lines. As a MTBer would say, it was gnarly. In my final year as an under 16 I came 3rd at the UK School Games street sprint, with the East Mids team that year finishing 4th in every inter regional competition.

As a first year junior I rode with Steve Poole Plant Hire – Raleigh, mainly focussing on cyclocross in my first year junior. Ive had so many good results and experiences as a junior so ill try to condense it a bit
Represented GB at the Cyclocross world cup at Kokjside – ended up in a pile up after 80m, smashing a few bits of kit in the process
3rd overall in the national trophy cyclocross series, after narrowly missing out winning around by a tyre length.
Rode for CT Soenens BOOOM, a Belgian road team, with my teammates being Harrison Wood and Joe Laverick, which most of you should know.
Raced some epic races in epic conditions. Kuurne Brussels Kuurne when it was -2, and Tour of Flanders in the rain.
Won a round of the National Road series – stage 2 Junior Tour of Mendips
10th Overall Junior Tour of Wales

I’m sure I’ve not covered everything but if you scroll back far enough on my Facebook/ Instagram there’s a few more photo gems that I’ve not included on here. Ill soon start writing some more specific blogs on certain topics, so if there is anything you’d like me to answer, send me a message.
Massive thanks to those who have contributed in the past and the present.
